This is one of the most entertaining and enjoyable thrillers I have read for a very long time.

I find it really unpleasant to read about subjects such as affairs, and therefore I was a little nervous that I was going to automatically dismiss the storyline, but I was completely wrong. I was totally gripped by the story, which moves along at a really nice pace without dragging for even a moment, but in particular, I was genuinely impressed by the depth of character given to every individual in the story, making them feel like real people that you were actually sharing their experiences with and caring about.

The main character was exceptionally well observed to the point that I found myself smiling several times thinking, yes, thats so true and the aforementioned affair, given the terrifying circumstances which were surrounding these peoples lives, particularly the poor desperate husband who really tried to do the right thing, made the situation completely forgivable and even understandable.

This is definitely one of those books that whisks you away on an adventure, and with the smooth and crisps storytelling, it is an easy yet at the same time intelligent read that you can’t put down.

As you can tell, I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

ps. I loved the end, it really made me smile!
